you need to go back into REBUG Toolbox after your PS3 has rebooted and this time find the " CEX/DEX" column. and scroll down till you find " Dump EID_root_key" and follow the on screens instructions to dump this. it will be the last column scrolling to the right. First you need to find the " Ultilities" column.When the app has loaded the navigation will be the same as the XMB. If you want to convert back to CEX then enter the app and follow these instructions: Once installed you should see it on the XMB in the " Games" column.
On the XMB if you find " Package Manager", it should be in the " Games" column, then go into it and select " Install Packages", then go into " Install from System Storage" you should see " REBUG Toolbox" press X on it to install this. Ĭlick to expand.Yes its an app, but its already on the PS3 ready to install. And if you want to convert back to CEX after you have it all sorted then you can via REBUG Toolbox, which comes with the CFW. Remember the PS3 will not install the REX version of REBUG as its been converted, make sure its the D-REX PUP you download and install. The when the PS3 ask for it your good to go. So the folder structure show look like this: On a FAT32 MBR format USB Drive create a folder called PS3, then in that folder make another one called UPDATE then put the downloaded PUP file in here and make sure its labled PS3UPDAT.PUP. It will download a ZIP file and in that ZIP will be a TXT file with a URL in, copy and paste that URL into your Browsers address bar and when you hit enter it should start to download the PUP file> Don't use Broswers like MS IE, or MS EDGE to do this as they have a habbit of not downloading the PUP and dispalying gibberish.
